HydraWell will next week (4-6 March 2019) attend the Norwegian Petroleum Society’s 19th North Sea Decommissioning Conference in Stavanger.
The conference has established itself as a leading international decommissioning conference in the North Sea Region. It is a forum for industry leaders to address key decommissioning topics within the wider context of the upstream business.
This year’s conference will address regulatory perspectives, technology, project execution, learnings and future challenges for the decommissioning industry.
On day one of the conference, at 17:05 on Tuesday 5 March, HydraWell’s co-founder Arne G. Larsen will present “The HydraWell PWC® story”.
HydraWell’s HydraHemeraTM third generation PWC® system perforates the well before washing the casing and then setting the cement plug – a so-called rock-to-rock barrier that is required under the Norsok standard. Through this method a rock-to-rock barrier can be installed in less than two days. The technology can be utilised on both single and dual casing wells.
To date, HydraWell has installed more than 270 plugs using the PWC® method, with a higher than 98 percent success rate, many in challenging well conditions and configurations.
Join us at the 19th North Sea Decommissioning Conference to learn more about the global oil and gas market’s most cost-efficient method for P&A, slot recovery and well repair operations!
